The Crucible
Arthur Miller wrote in 1953 during the red scare of McCarthyism. The play's 1692 setting during the Salem Witch Trials was deliberately chosen as an allegory for the hysteria of McCarthy's witch hunts. Miller based many of his characters on real people from historical records. Your group is responsible for researching one character/person from the play and collaboratively creating a blog page with information, pictures, and comments.
