I think its a great idea that the government should get involved with conserving water and energy. I think we need to find alternative ways in which we can recycle water and make it cost efficient. Or find a way to turn salt water into purified water that could be sold on the market for cheap prices.

A popular debate is how much the government should play a role in society. This is no different with the topic of the conservation of water and energy. I believe the government should create laws to help protect the environment and preserve the natural resources we currently have. Without the government consent we could turn our country into ruins in the near furture.

i think it is cool to save the invernment. We need to conserve so we can save our planet.

I believe that the government should make laws to protect the enviroment because if people arent going to do it on there own they should be forced to do it. I believe that making the laws will ot only help "our future" but it would show improvments now, because as much as i wanna help people in the future i would rather things be better for me , my family and friends now. It would help to make chaNGES BUT I BELIEVE IF LAWS WERE MADE THEY WOULDNT SEE THEM in 200 YEARS , WE COULD ACTUALLY SEE MAny of the changes now.

The governemnt should make laws on having peole limited to a certain amount of water per day.

I think that the government should put a limit on water usage to save and conserve water so we do not run out in the future because water is not a renewable resource and many people waste water so there should be a limit.

If there is a limit on the amount of water that is used it shouldn't be placed on people who have there own wells because people own the land under their house and that includes their wells.There shouldnt be a limit on how much energy we use because people already pay eletric bills to use there energy.

I think that the water "waste" is causing injury to our enviorment. I think that the Goverment should attempt to limit the water use. The laws should not defy the rights of people, but the law should create a minor law that exposes the idea of how much we waste. Water usage can potentially hurt the economy, because without water, many buisnesses can not run. A water shortage could aslo hurt the enviorment. If the goverment can conserve water, both the enviorment and economy will be bettered.

I think that having the government create a law to conserve water and energy is a really good idea and will definitely better the environment. Some people may not agree with the idea but i think that all together it is more of a positive impact than negative.

i think that having laws could be a good thing and a bad thing. Having laws can be a violation of our rights and of our property. It can be good if your concerned about your enviroment

Government should regulate the amount of water used in states to a certain extent. After all, we DO have the right to use the water we're paying for. Water usage in cities should be regulated by necessity, such as the plumbing in houses and the water used to cool down machinery in industries. If everyone attempted to conserve water in their everyday lives, we could make a big difference. Remember, water is not a renewable resource.
